Uncover Your Hidden Waste

Enter your building’s detailed profile. We’ll calculate your estimated energy waste, carbon footprint, and the ROI of a professional audit.

Method

From utility bills to engineered savings

01

Utility & data analysis

We analyze 12–24 months of historical utility bills and weather data to establish your building’s exact baseline energy signature.

02

On-site diagnostics

We conduct a rigorous physical inspection using thermal imaging cameras, blower door tests, and combustion analyzers to find hidden leaks.

03

Energy modeling

We build a digital twin of your building in simulation software to test how different upgrades will perform under real-world conditions.

04

ROI & measure ranking

Every potential upgrade is evaluated for energy savings, cost, and simple payback period. We rank them by financial and operational impact.

05

Actionable roadmap

You receive a prioritized, phased implementation plan. No fluff, just clear engineering steps to slash your consumption and bills.

The office that burned €40k in waste

A 1,200m² commercial building paying €48k/year in energy bills. Thermal imaging revealed 23% of their heat was escaping through uninsulated walls and single-glazed windows. The HVAC was running 14 hours a day in an empty building.

  • Baseline: EUI of 320 kWh/m²/yr, €48k annual bills, constant comfort complaints.
  • The Fix: Envelope retrofit, VRF system with smart controls, LED upgrade, and occupancy sensors.
  • Result: 41% energy reduction, €19.7k annual savings, 3.8-year payback on €75k investment.

FAQ

Common questions

What’s the difference between ASHRAE Level 1, 2, and 3 audits?

Level 1 is a basic walk-through audit that identifies obvious waste and low-cost improvements. Level 2 (our most popular) includes detailed energy modeling, thermal imaging, and a comprehensive analysis of all systems with ROI calculations for each measure. Level 3 is an investment-grade audit that provides detailed engineering specifications and contractor-ready documents for major capital projects. Most commercial clients start with Level 2.

How long does the on-site audit take?

A typical residential audit takes 2–4 hours on-site. Commercial buildings range from 4–8 hours depending on size and complexity. We conduct thermal imaging, blower door tests (if applicable), and inspect all HVAC, lighting, and envelope systems. The detailed report and energy model take an additional 5–10 working days to complete.

Will the audit disrupt my business operations?

No. Our audits are non-invasive and conducted during normal operating hours. We use portable diagnostic equipment and work around your schedule. For commercial clients, we can schedule thermal imaging and blower door tests during off-hours or weekends to ensure zero disruption to your operations.

Do you implement the recommendations or just provide the report?

We are strictly an engineering and consulting firm—we don’t sell equipment or perform installation work. This ensures our recommendations are 100% vendor-neutral and unbiased. However, we provide a complete, contractor-ready implementation package with detailed specifications, so any qualified contractor can execute the work. We can also oversee the installation if you need project management support.

What documents do I need to provide before the audit?

Ideally, we need 12–24 months of utility bills (electricity, gas, water), architectural floor plans (if available), and HVAC equipment schedules. For commercial buildings, occupancy schedules and recent maintenance records are also helpful. If you don’t have all of these, don’t worry—we can work with what you have and fill in gaps during the on-site inspection.

How accurate are the energy savings projections?

Our Level 2 and Level 3 audits use calibrated energy models that typically achieve ±10% accuracy against actual post-retrofit performance. We use industry-standard simulation software (EnergyPlus, eQUEST) and validate the model against your historical utility data before projecting savings. The report includes confidence intervals for each measure, so you can make informed decisions based on realistic ranges, not optimistic guesses.
